Is there a way of using the saved game files from the old system?

yes, just use it.
m3sakura loads saves from the original firmware fine.
but if they're still the old .0 files, rename them to .sav.

A lot of GBA games simply cannot save under Sakura that could save fine under the older M3 Real firmware. Golden Sun is a prime example, as well as a few others I have noticed.

Well, none of my homebrew works and neither does Soft Reset.
Still, the GUI is so nice, and that's the reason I use sakura. I really wish they would fix homebrew compatibility and soft reset.

I also agree with previous posts that a soft reset would be nice.
hm, ever tried dragging games to the left instead of the right?
you'd notice it already has cheats, and has a (not yet working) soft reset option.

*blinku* Actually, I don't drag them at all. I use the buttons instead.

Thank you!

(I thought it was rather odd that nobody else had mentioned this)

I guess a possible negative side (subjectively) is that there isnt a set button for games, or settings and obviously the soft-reset issues and so on.

...yes there is, it's X or Y.

We should expect most things to be fixed in the English release, because from what I hear, a lot of the core structure is being tweaked (the reason it's taking so long)

You mean the M3 team are working on an official english Sakura release?
Would that fix some of the issues?

Any preliminary release date?

It seems that Sakura cuts off the last three second of video (or so)..
I've seen it too, and heard that from few people so far....It's not big deal, but I don't know why is it doing that!

Well i am sure that m3 are aware and are fixing all of the problems people have been encountering so far.

Not that i care.... it doesn't effect me as i still have the old classic firmware.

And is there anyway of making one .nds files that work on the g6? And i know you will say no because of the dldi patching needs 32k and only 16k is accepted but what about the beta release (.nds version)? That worked on the G6.
