Any feature you have in mind?

A way for the software to keep track of the TID names we're using. I keep forgetting to write them down. Maybe implement it in terms of a checkbox to the left side so people can turn it off and on if they choose to use it or not. I was thinking that if the software just dumps it to a text file that would be good enough too.

It already has that feature.

A file called "used_tids" is generated when you first use it, and each time you use a TID for a game, it gets added to that file. When you get randomly new TIDs, it checks that they aren't in the file, so you don't use the same TID again. It's in since v1.8.

Any feature you have in mind?

Is it possible for Original R4 users to, say, create a forwarder Cia for Dsi enhanced games like Pokemon B/W/1/2, which brings us to that rom on the r4 menu? Or even just brings us to the R4 menu itself? (I'm thinking of this as a workaround because, as you know, these games do not currently work as forwarders for original R4 users). That way we could have icons for Pokemon Black/White on our homescreens which, although they don't launch the rom itself, gets us one click away from launching the rom.

@Robz8 - i just read on the op that supercard dstwo is not compatible, but just want to ask if it will be possible in future? thanks...
Maybe or maybe not. I made a Stage2 launcher out of an existing .nds file, but it boots _dstwo/dstwo.nds by default, and can't be edited to run another .nds file.

I updated the forwarder pack for DSTT, R4i-SDHC, and SC DSONE. Some games that weren't working in YSMenu before, should work now. Also, the R4i-SDHC now has a folder seperate from the DSTT, and in the folder has YSMenu.nds (renamed from R4.dat), from @DarkGabbz.

Gateway Blue Cart and most likely DSTWO store the kernel path in the overlay. For Gateway blue cart, the "real" rom for it is in one of the SDAT files in the NitroFS directory of the main rom. Sorta interesting. Guess they exploited a flaw in the game to piggy back their boot code off of.

The kernel path and their boot code is stored in one of the overlays. This means it can't be edited at the moment because overlays use slot-1 card reads. So it gets ignored in favor for what the cart has in it's internal rom.

Hopefully someone can at some point RE it and put the code from the overlay into a working arm9 binary so it won't have to depend on cart reads. That would make changing the kernel path possible.

Also I got a DS-Xtreme in the mail today. I confirmed it's useable with the stage2 launcher I made. It does have an autoboot feature where it boots a game immediately. (it's really fast at doing this actually, almost as fast as a real cart)

I am not 100% sure how it works, but it might be storing the autoboot path in the MBR of the nand image. This may be accessible via DLDI. The site I got my DSX from is only $12 or so with shipping so it's really cheap. :D

To bad WoodR4/YSMenu doesn't work on it. Game compatiblity leaves a lot to be desired.
