Hacking Navigating RCM menu without volume buttons

Hi all,

I was just getting into trying out different emulators on my Switch yesterday when all of a sudden, the volume buttons stopped working. This is important, since in order to navigate the RCM menu to boot the CFW, I need to navigate down with the volume buttons. Interestingly, for the purposes of booting into RCM mode before I inject, the volume buttons apparently work (since it doesn't do a normal boot when I hold down power and volume up).

Is there any way that I can possibly navigate into the CFW or automatically boot into it without having use of the volume buttons? Or is there some other way to navigate the options in the RCM menu? Is it possible to navigate the menu with a USB keyboard?

You can edit hekate_ipl.ini to autoboot CFW.

How do I do that?

1. Open hekate_ipl.ini.
2. Find where it says autoboot near the top.
3. Change =0 to the number of the boot option you want to autoboot. For example, if the first boot option is CFW, as it is with Kosmos CFW, then change 0 to 1.
