No definitely not as powerful, but supposedly it will output ps3 like graphics because of the low screen resolution.
Just like the DS could output 64 like graphics without being as powerful as the n64 itself.

much more powerful than gcn
i'd easily go as far to say it's stronger than the wii, especially after we've seen improved screens/trailers from the developers
trying to run UT enginge and porting SF4, RE5 is sth the wii would never be capable of

I'd say its on par with the wii displaying graphics but power wise I'd say GC level or a bit more.

actually the 3d eats up a lot too[probably], so that makes it even more powerful than the wii
but it's true that they still look better because of the small resolution, but it's not the real reason

I'm sure N64 emulation possible on the 3DS, but a better question would be is 3D possible on the emulator?

Yes, but maybe only simple games like Super Mario 64.

The Pandora @ 850MHz (ARM processor much like the DS) still doesn't run many games that well.

Really depends on the emulator. From what I can see, the N64 emulator on Pandora is based off of Mupen64, which generally required a high-end box to run decently in the first place.

We can't tell.. It could be possible since all the things (analoge stick, good little processor) are availible. I mean, have you looked at MG for 3ds. it would be very plausible. > As for the time to develop such a emulator, it will take a couple of months... IF there is going to be a flashcard that is strong enough
