Hacking N3DS XL Firmware by version number

I just bought a US N3DS XL Black from BestBuy with the version number of QW1032 and am hesitant to open it as there are no reports of its firmware version.

The suspense is killing me, please open it.

Open it REALLY carefully and take a look at the firmware. If it's too high format it, put everything back and return it saying it was a gift and they REALLY wanted it in another color. Worked for me lol

Returned it by saying it was defective as the screen was excessively wobbly, which it actually was. Traded it for the small N3DS and that had 9.0 on it luckily.
