Although officially the 3DS family supports memory cards up to 32GB, I understand that SDXC cards should work so long as they're formatted to FAT32, is that right? Has anyone experienced problems with using a 128GB micro SD card before? Specifically, I'm looking at the SanDisk Ultra model.
Also, is it true that larger capacity SD cards will perform slower than smaller capacity ones under FAT32? I read somewhere that a 128GB card will perform 25% slower than a 32GB one, but didn't quite understand the technical reason behind this.
(Oh, and PSA to members in the UK, Argos is having a sale and the aforementioned SanDisk Ultra 128GB is currently 40% off at £29.99. This applies to both micro and macro SD cards.)
