Hacking My Personal reasons for getting Sky3DS

I got it last week and I love it. So I wrote 5 reasons why:

1.Simple to use, almost plug and play.
2.All Games work on it, at least for me [no eshop but i dont care]
3.Works on latest version on my NEW 3DS XL [from australia]
4.It survived a lot of firmware updates
5.Online is supported in most interesting games such as Mario Kart and Smash , didn't work on tetris but honestly i don't care.

So now I play games a lot

To be a bit safer, you should follow up on how to replace the public headers with your own header.
For that, you need a way to dump your own games.

(Ow, and there's an entry for Tetris here on the forums that work online (but it is using a public header)

can i get banned while playing Kirby Triple deluxe, total offline game, with Sky3ds? [just an example]

No. Any game that doesn't use network features if fine. Just keep that Wifi switch in the off position.

Excuse me but why do I need to dump my own games?
I paid $60 for my Sky3DS, I am entitled to online play without spending more on games I can simply download.

I suggest you rectify this with immediate effect or else.
 
Thats a nice list! :lol:

On a off topic note Sky3DSs 9.5 "feature" doesnt mean jack now since Nintendo started banning people with public headers. The only and main feature would be that it works on the N3DS as far as I know. Hmm maybe the price will drop.

You don't have to, however if you get banned and you will absolutely need to play online, you'll have to change the header anyways, to do that you have 2 options, either find one online (which might get banned again) or dump your own game and enjoy online without worrying.

Not a lot of people got banned currently though.

Great! Next step is upgrading to GW, gaining access to the whole experience ;)

J/K. Just don't go online with the default headers. Good luck getting a private header without a GW to dump your carts, though.

Agree wholeheartedly. Threads like this only incite GW vs SKY arguments which quickly get out of hand.

Please lock this mods.

Hmmz, let me think, ....
Nope, will not do that, to use your own private header, you need a way to dump your own game, so you can extract the header and use that, just you, nobody else
This way you avoid a ban.

And it's not because you paid $60 for a sky3ds, that you are entitled to play online without spending more money on games you can simply download.
IF you want to play online without worrying, just buy the damned game in the store!

I dumped my own games, i use my own headers, i have my own modified template and it's not because i have a sky3ds or gateway i stop buying retail games when i like them.
All games i want to play online i own original and all online games (and normal games) that will come out in the future that i want, i will buy when they come out.

It's you who think that buying a $60 flashcart entitles you to do everything you want without paying a cent more to play your games that need to rectify this!
 
The thing is with me, I already bought a lot of games before I even got sky3ds. so all interesting games for online i can play on my own retail carts.
thank you all for the responses. i hope mods will lock this up to avoid SPAM.
