i don't understand i follow all instructions.
i see m3 adapter in dsi menu
but when i start it the dsi show "An error has occured. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSI Operations Manual for details"
do you have the system file in your micro sd?

i have SYSTEM folder and the F_CORE.DAT file

It's a kingston 8gb microsd
i don't think it's from micro sd because i'll see not the m3 adapter in dsi menu after flash with this same micro sd no?

so you can't see the M3 in the menu, or you can? before you were saying you can see it but it fails when you start it up. now you are saying you don't see it. i don't understand what you are trying to say.....

if you can't see it in the dsi menu, you probably didn't flash correctly or there is a contact issue. if you have another micro sd, i say try it with a different one, because you will never know. if not, too bad.

you could have also bricked your cart.

sorry my bad english
yes i see the m3 in the menu.
i just try to say if it was a micro sd issue : The flash would not have succeeded with this micro sd and so i will not see m3 in menu.

i don't have another micro sd

well, if you can see it on your menu, then it should be fine, i think its the system folder. did you get the sakura firmware from the stickied M3 Sakura FAQ thread?

i try system from m3adapter.com and m3 sakura and reformat with panasonic formater
it's same issue

yea sorta discourages me from buying it also. maybe they should make the upgrade cable have better build quality and a way to not permanently "brick" the card xD

EDIT: they should make the m3i zero have better build quality.

yea maybe, luckily they sell em on dealextreme now =D they have a defective return thing and their customer service is great. If i do buy one, i'll buy from them. But yea everyone might want to wait for awhile and let the m3 team clear this up

yea i know thats its slow, but the customer service is always there. They are known for good customer service but slow customer service and shipping, however, i really needa buy from them as i am poor right now, my parents just deposited $500 into my bank

Did any of you who bricked your cart stick the usb adapter into the M3iZ when you shouldn't have? Because I was doing it during my review (to show how it plugs in) and thats when mine bricked. The adapter wasnt even plugged into the computer though, so I don't see how it should have affected the M3iZ. But...if you guys did the same thing, then I guess we have the cause of the problem

Well actually the only time I plugged the adapter was when I tried to flash the card. According to the instructions you have to plug the adapter first to the card and then to the computer. However my DS is able to recognize the cart it shows M3 adapter but when I try to load the card for 5 seconds the lower screen shows M3 Real and the shows the "No system file found" screen.

I ordered two cards, one for me and the other for my friend. The other card works great and we followed the same steps. I tried to insert the other micro SD (the one that works) on my M3 but it shows the same thing so I'm starting to believe that the issue is with the M3 itself.

And like someone else said the light on my card is not red, it's blue. Every review I checked shows a red light when flashing the card so maybe mine is not an original card.

Actually if you look at the other post, the tutorial person on the video has a blue light too. All the samples ones are red. All the commercial ones are blue. I'm betting your problem with the card is the system firmware. Go here and get the system files and you should be good =)

I don't think it is about the cable. I flashed 3 other carts with the same cable. It is most definitely the M3i Zero itself.

actually, the cable is of poor quality too. I bent mine (just a tiny bit, not hard or anything) when storing it, and the metal has begun chipping off of the connectors.

To describe it better: by bending it, the metal strips that extend out of the cable started to wear down where it was bent. Like leather after you bend it. If you bend it too much, it doesnt provide power at all to your M3i.

I downloaded the F_core.dat and both system files from handheldsources. First I tried with the "M3Sakura Ver1.40 X The Europe/USA Version" and then with the M3i Zero & M3DS Real System V4.3h X and neither worked.
But thanks for letting me know that the M3i samples have red light and the commercial ones have a blue light. One less thing to worry about.

YEAHHHH !

I spend all night to find a solution.

And it's ok.

I sell the solution 50$.

No no stop i joke

So i saw only the m3 cart in dsi menu but not start...
It was because a bad flash not the sd !
But another issue when i want to reflash the led is always off .
I thought now the m3 is dead ! And here it was the poor adapter which was broken.
I fix the adapter quick like this :

sorry for bad image quality...

i cut the adapter and just add 2 small cable !
