Homebrew My 3ds wont turn on

My friend had a 3ds and decided to give it to me without the SDcard, now that I have the 3ds everytime I try to turn it on the light goes on and then off. I think it my be bricked.

I don't have anything in my SDcard right now.

I already tried to download luma3ds and paste the archives in the SDcard but nothing happened.

Can someone help me.

I may be able to help you I have had this happen in the past try this method

(1) Boot GodMode9

(2) Press the home button

(3) Select Scripts...

(4) Select GM9Megascript

(5) Select Scripts from Plailect's Guide

(6) Select Setup Luma3DS to CTRNAND

(7) Press A

(8) Press A

(9) Input button combo

(10) Press A
