MW3 Wii launches alongside 360/PS3/PC version!

I'm not the biggest fan of the series but what I've played of the Black Ops on the Wii it's not too bad of a port.

This is going to be the sub-standard version isn't it?

A.K.A the version that markets to the 12 year olds who are "hardcore" but can't buy a 360/PS3.

if you ask me or atleast tried the wii version..
besides hd, & option to use wiimote pointer or classic controller pro.
the only difference between wii versions modern warfare reflex & black ops was wii versions had no multiplayer/split screen/coop, & black ops only had 1 zombies map. other than that everything else was exactly same, soo if the wii versions marketed to kids then they all are not far from being marked for 12 year old kids.

this 20 year old persons gonna have his fun on modernwarfare 3 wii regardless.

if only i had internet at home to get online.

And the graphics. Don't forget the terrible, terrible graphics

Who gives a flying frak about the graphics?! CoD on the Wii still plays better than the ones on the HD consoles so I'm already sold. I honestly could care less about HD graphics but I do care about good graphics within the limits of the console I'm playing with. As long as developers aren't being lazy and taking the time to use good art direction, I'm happy.

A little late on this, but the graphics on CoD for the Wii AREN'T the best they could do. It reminds me of Far Cry.

Which looks better to you? TBH, Far Cry to me. But maybe it's just me, I'm not hating on the Wii CoD's I love em! Played em more than 360! Just saying the graphics aren't the greatest in the world for a Wii shooter.

Black Ops is cheater-free...I play it all the time.

It's funny 'cause Activision's playing the "we are pushing the Wii's limits" card, yet it looks a lot worse than other Wii games.
And I'm not sure if it's because I'm not using component cables, but my Black Ops Wii looks worse than that screenshot.

But really, who gives a crap? I mean, CoD isn't about graphics and they now it.

There are people who actually think CoD graphics are good (even though they're not, they're just pretending to be graphics whores), but that's besides the point.
Treyarch just claims to be pushing the Wii to its limit, yet omitting stuff that other Wii games were able to handle. Sure, there are stuff the Wii can't handle, but they seem to be cutting much more than that.

I think the gfx are fine considering what the developers have to play with, but for the life of me I can see no reason to be able to see the spent shells coming out of the gun and littering the floor. I'd rather they used the processing power for something else.

This type of game is not really about how pretty it looks but about gameplay.

As I believe others have said, until the other consoles have a control system for this type of game as good as the wii then Ill stick with my poundland gun frame for the wii remote and nunchuck. I also feel there is less of the autoaim (snap onto) that is a problem with the big boys consoles. ie more skill in aiming is required on the wii
