Hacking MT-Card manual update with game?

Ok it updated to 9.4 but for some reason it doesn't have the options for themes which doesn't really bother me much.

yah the game works in classic menu.
All my other games work as well.
I assume I might have missed an update that install themes.
But once MT-Card comes out with support for 9.5 I will just update like I normally do.

I did notice that my 3dz games can no longer go online though.
Before I could go online in Mario Kart 7 and Pokemon X.
Maybe a missed update CIA caused this.

After retrying reformatting and trying again I was able to update my emunand correctly with the theme support available.
I still can't go online with my 3dz format games but I am guessing that is because I am not using the latest emunand which is 9.5.
My retail Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate game works fine online and that is all I care about right now.

I wish someone would do an easy tutorial because I am sure there are people who were stuck in the same situation as me.

Guys I have a question, My mtcard Emunand is 9.4.0 right now, i want to update and download pokemon shuffle and pokebank... is there a way that I'll backup my emunand then update it to 9.5.0 then restore the backup to return back to 9.4.0? I'm new to this so I'll be very grateful if someone may answer

I dont know how to use the cia, im scared on breaking my 3ds or unable to play downloaded games

You won't brick anything if you install them on the emunand.

if i format back emunand then restore backup, will my downloaded games from eshop be erased too?
