Hmm. Delete the launcher.dat and redownload the 1.0 FW from MT's site and put it in the root of the internal SD card. Then try again.

If that doesn't work, only thing left is to reinstall the NDS exploit.

But at that point, yes, you are SOL without the other cart.

when you say root of the card what do you mean? basically when I open the sd card up its on the bottom of the first screen below some music the kid had on here

Really there should only be a Nintendo folder, and the file itself. (root means its on the card, outside of any folders) Replace that launcher.dat and delete those music files or move them off. How big is the SD Card?

it has a Nintendo ds file, a DCIM file, and some horrible music hahaha

I deleted then added that SD card file V1.0 (01-02-2014) off of mt's website and still the same results

FYI, you can use any DS flashcard, there's nothing special about the MT one.

as others have already suggest try get hold of a DS card to install the exploit, the fact that its crashing when you go to DS profile does kinda seem that the exploit is installed but idk maybe it got messed up.
you could also try formatting the 3DS's SD card and setting up the launcher fresh

yeah i was thinking that it might of edited the NDS profile to match what he set the 3ds profile as, can't say i have ever done that so idk....makes sense i suppose

it does, both the user name and birthday set on the 3ds profile updates the ds profile settings too. under the ds profile settings you can only edit the message and color.
