More "Highly Significant" unannounced PS3 games on the horizon.

I’d point to the software line-up on PS3 that we have coming up – God of War: Ascension next month, The Last of Us, which is looking great, and Beyond later in the year. And there’s other stuff yet to be announced which is highly significant too. There’s a lot coming on PS3 and it’s going to be very important to us for some time yet.

Even with the PS4 announced and getting heavy attention, Sony is still planning to release some apparently major PS3 games that have yet to be announced.

My hope: Sly Cooper 5. Sly 4 ended in such a damn cliffhanger. Realistically (I know Sly isn't "Highly Significant" to many people), I have to guess possibly a Jak 4, a real (not spinoff) Ratchet and Clank, Infamous 3, or maybe even a new Crash Bandicoot.

Given the development delays times of previous titles that is not a bet I am all that willing to take. That said 2010 was the last one so I guess I can see being surprised.

Crash Bandicoot is dead. Doubt they'll ever revive that franchise again. Too many failures. Same for goes for Jak & Daxter. Without Naughty Dog at the helm I seriously doubt any future games will live up to their predecessors. I won't totally condemn them both though. There's always a chance for a comeback. Albeit a very small one.

I really see The Last of Us being the best game of the year.

And yeah, there's a few titles for this year at least, maybe a couple for 2014 but I see that more as a PS4 year. Still, fortunately the console will be alive up until the PS4 release.

I would LOOOOVE to see an Uncharted 4. Hopefully with the locales like Uncharted 2, but the gameplay of Uncharted 3.... Motherfucker, now I feel like playing through those games again. If only they had story co-op....
