Moonshell2, Sakura, Timer problem

    I have a problem, when i start any of the same type programs, like Moonshell 2, M3 Sakura (DLDI), MorningTimer, CookingTimer, they won't load (they hang at **%).

    What can i do to fix this?

    I have always been able to fix this by reformatting the SD card using SDFormatter by Panasonic. I guess it's because these applications check the SD card or something...

    My FS was Fat32, but when i format it with SD Formatter, it changes to FAT(16)
    How do i change it to format to FAT32?

    is there any way to get moonshell to work without the "usefull" tools like morning timer, ipk, etc etc??

    I'm Going to add a warning here from recent experience with morning timer with SAKURA on the new M3 REAL release which may also apply to moonshell 2 issues!

    Do not use it on the NEW M3 REAL/SAKURA 1.34 X release chances are that IT WILL CORRUPT YOUR CARD! when I tested it I found that you could no longer see any files on the mem card in windows!


    This may happen too with MOONSHELL 2!

    A format will fix the mem card but using it again will cause the same corruption!

    hence it was removed from the release of 1.34 Sakura/M3 Real release on this forum :

    delete logbuf.txt from both

    i know it fixed moonshell2 for me. in the moonshell2 gbatemp english thread, they said it's not even supposed to be in the archive anyway. i don't know why haven't updated the download section

    which reminds me, that place is a mess. they need a staffer to clean it up and remove older versions, or at least organize the entire area better, give a letter jump to as opposed to an arbitrary page number, etc. the download section is terrible

    copy 'moonshl2.nds' and '/moonshl2' folder onto the root folder of MicroSD, and start 'moonshl2.nds'. It worked on mine
