Hacking [Monster Hunter 4] Does it work WITHOUT 6.3 emunand?

I JUST got my gateway card in today only to read that I can't update the emunand, however, the only game I care about playing at the moment is MH4; does it still work without emunand? Thanks.

It should. Emunand is there just to have access in Eshop using the GW firmware. It doesn't affect compatibility as of late.

Then how do I download the MK7 patch? cause, the original game cant be launch from emunand.

Hi, i need some help with Monster Hunter 4. I tried to load with 2.0b1, not EmuNAND. I got a black screen as soon as I launch the game. I can play Zelda though, just not MH4. Any ideas?
