i used Any Title Deleter DB and reinstalled cIOS249-rev14 and used the wads i had for 202 222 and 223

Hi there,
I thanks everyone here helped me to modfiy my Wii,all working great it's full hacked now and i was very happy today when newgamma opened my first game (grand slam tennis) although my Wii new but i think now it's not protected from DISKS and i think it's because after i updated it online my software become (4.2E)...

Suckage! Total suckage! Why was the tutorial updated in the first place? I remember back in Novemeber. I've seen this tutorial, followed all the steps, done! Everything worked perfectly fine. Not a single problem. And today? I see the tutorial and try to follow the steps, but since what's written there obviously doesn't make any sense I failed relatively soon. I mean it took me over an hour to get anywhere with the Trucha Bug thanks to how awesome it is written. It contains steps that that were only present in Trucha Bug Restorer (like the "Press 1") and misses many steps present in DOP-IOS MOD v10. And sadly it's not even like the steps there are obvious steps. Most the time there are at least two options that would suite the description.

Even when I finally got somewhere (Using Trucha Bug Restorer, duh! DOP-IOS MOD v10 couldn't find some files that were necessary for installation) it was just to find out that nothing works at all. I'm pretty much where I started except I wasted, like, 2 1/2 hours. Please, if you "update" your tutorial again, make sure the part you changed works fine and easy to understand for everyone. DOP-IOS MOD v10 was supposed to make everything easier, but it just made everything a whole lot harder.

Sorry to harsh, but the new guide is a bit problematic.
After the IOS 15 downgrade, the instructions all went Pete Tong.

Luckily I had and old version from November or early December.
It was much easier to follow, and had the Hermes V4 which was a bonus.

Thanks man, but with a few tweaks, I'm sure it will rock again!

I think my hotmail account filtered it out, but my other ISP account worked instantly.

and also i cant do the Trucha bug part so i just skipped that :| i read somewhere that i should :< anyway yeah the Trucha bug part wouldnt go the screen were i press 1 i kept waiting but never got there :<

sigh. I'm following this being a complete noob to softmodding and having a problem...
got as far as installing homebrew but when it came to installing the trucha bug I fucked up. Had homebrew channel and downloaded dop ios mod to my sd(hc) however when I started homebrew channel no apps came up anywhere. I thought maybe the homebrew channel was messed up so i selected "move" and moved it to sd card but when I went to "move" it or "copy" it back to the wii it said "data may not have been moved" and sure enough no homebrew channel anymore on my wii. I've tried reinstalling the hackmii installer again but it just freezes or I get a black screen with loads of data. First time I used aad1f_v108.zip and it installed. tried about 10 other aads and no luck now. I have 4.1 system and LU6 wii. Do I even need the trucha bug? This is not so "simplistic" for the average person! (sorry, we are not all computer geeks!

any suggestions? thanks.

Yea! i have exactly the same prob. in the guide under the "trucha bug" ,"Wait till it says press 1 then press it" i dont get that option...??????

If you get a code dump during the tbr part, hard power off the console and try again... try at least 4 times before you come back and post... I have modded about 60 wii's using this guide, and never had one I couldn't mod...
