Yes. Remembering that all red wiis come with 4.3, so you will need one of exploitable games.

Clydefrosch said:ill be getting a EU wii in red for christmas, I keep reading online that the yugioh exploit works on EU wiis too, but couldnt find any tutorial videos so far...
in this guide, it says the exploit only works on us/j wiis
what would be true?
reason being, indiana jones costs about 80€ while yugioh is about 20€, so i'd prefer yugioh.
has anyone already used the yugioh exploit to get homebrews running on a EU (german) wii?
Clydefrosch said:ive been on that page before, but it just seems to show me an empty wikipedia like page with Yu-Gi-OWNED as title :/
that wouldnt be a problem i guess, i still have a 2GB SD Card from sandisk (bought for a digicam ages ago) somewhere.
but thanks anyway, if it does work, ill probably buy the game tomorrow... seen threads about the game being sold out randomly already

Clydefrosch said:ok, thank you, that seems mostly easy as far as i can tell.
now, not having a wii yet, is it any hard to determine which hz version to use?
so far, every game that asked me if i'd like 50 or 60 hz, both options worked well, so will i be able to use either?
a last quick question, what would i have to do if i only wanted to install the homebrew channel and nothing else on the wii?
burritoboy9984 said:Yes, just have ios236 loaded, and install over them.
