Tutorial Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below

i got neogamma, when i try to boot using that, the screen goes blank and nothing happens.
is there a way i can see exactly what is on my wii so i can post it on here?

As I said earlier Erik, when it gets to ios 37-64 v5663.wad it auto loads 36 again and the installs start failing

So it says ios 236 IS loaded? And then once you try to install 37, it gives an error, and then on the menu of MMM it says ios 36 is loaded?

Yeah, I load 236 in ios manager, go back to wad manager and it installs all the ioses up to 37, then a message appears "auto loading ios36" or something like that, then the failing starts. When I go back to ios manager, 36 is loaded.

Both of you download syscheck (latest is 2.0.1). Throw it on your sd card, and launch it. A file will be placed in the root of your sd card. Copy and paste it here.

The first syscheck you posted said you didn't have ios236 installed. That means when I asked before if you had it loaded before, it would have been impossible for you to have had it loaded.

Also, I honestly don't see why neogamma launched to a black screen (you were trying to launch it from the hbc, right?).

Moving on, download the 43mod pack, load up MMM and install all the wads (this is what actually "mods" the system). Try launching neogamma after.

I am attempting to install Priiloader but am getting an error message "ES_Identify failed, error 4294966279. Ios58 not patched with ES_DIVerify? using cios (holding b and then pressing + or -) will probably solve this.
NOTE: you need CIOS for this.

I read that loader ini and password txt errors are harmless - but I don't know if this is one of those errors.

Can someone please explain what this means? I have a softmodded Wii running 4.2 with Bootmii, Wanin's Rev 17 and Hermes Rev 5.1

You still have a forwarder channel from usb loader gx I assume from your comment. Download the 43mod pack, place the boot.elf file into the proper folder that your forwarder points to, the hackmii loader should popup, install the hbc, and continue on with the guide.

Do you have a forwarder channel? (IE do you start USB loader from a channel on your wii?) If so, go to your SD card and put the latest homebrew channel installer in it's place... Then click the USB loader channel to reinstall the homebrew channel.

From there, follow the guide on page 1.



If you don't have a forwarder channel installed, you'll need to use Indiana Pwns.

Does usb loader gx launch at all? Does it launch without a memory card? If it doesn't launch without a memory card, that means you have a channel forwarder. Do you remember which wad you installed? You have any other channels?

Hi Erik, thank you for you support.

I have installed the 43 mod pack now, the results are above, I am trying to launch neogamma from the channel that is on my wii menu, I have also put neogamma on hbc, when i try to load from there i get "launching game" then "no cIOS + DVD-R?".
