cw-games was moved to http://www.dshack.org/forum/index.php?/topic/1179-mkds-course-modifier-part-3/page-16 .

well is seems the site back to original domain. i was found this tools on dshack, but idk why they moved into cw-games. and on this year was moved back to dshack domain again.
It was because the admins wanted to become Nintendo developers. So they seperated dshack and cwgames. Now they have nothing to do with it anymore.

The last beta of mkds course modifier is always found here: http://www.dshack.org/forum/index.php?/files/file/29-mkds-course-modifier/

no luck. when re loaded thing are off and wrong. pointers ignored. ascii text itself jibberish. working around with a basic text replace. control code = x. As I did try exactly what you suggested already. no big deal... thank anyways.

Is there a way to edit the klc without having to import an .obj? I want to edit the klc in some texture hacked courses to suite the textures respectfully.

No, sorry. That's not possible. But if I remember correctly, an older version of mkdscm (3.0, last beta) could export the kcl to obj. (It dumps to C:\test.obj or something)

I'm having issues opening .bmg files. There are one or two I can properly open, but when I open any others, the program crashes, or just won't open the file.
[Edit]
Okay so it seems I can open more than two, but I also have another problem.
The BMG editor corrupts or deletes lines of text because I have a few item names that have become gigantic lines of question marks, and some items crash the game.

I have a HUGE problem with the .obj UV patcher, whatever model I select, it always gives me "Unhandled Exception: Invalid parameters." and it's really bugging me, do you know what the problem is? Also, just for reference, here are the details of the error:
"System.ArgumentException: Parameter is not valid.
at System.Drawing.Bitmap..ctor(String filename)
at MKDS_Course_Modifier._3D_Formats.MLT..ctor(String file)
at MKDS_Course_Modifier._3D_Formats.OBJ.FixNitroUV(OBJ Input)

at System.Windows.Forms.MenuItem.OnClick(EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.MenuItem.MenuItemData.Execute()
at System.Windows.Forms.Command.Invoke()
at System.Windows.Forms.Command.DispatchID(Int32 id)

at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m)

Man, this tool is great for Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass!

It's a shame it's not easier to use, though. It's a pain to load up textures and animations with the relating model....

Do you think you'll get animation export eventually?
