That's pretty cool to know. People often ask me about input lag compared to X and I haven't been able to give any concrete answers. I'd be curious if you notice any increased lag with more controllers connected too.I don't know if anyone noticed, but missioncontrol even got lower input lag than 8bitdo adapter. Makes a huge difference in smash.
Do you have numbers?I don't know if anyone noticed, but missioncontrol even got lower input lag than 8bitdo adapter. Makes a huge difference in smash.
There was some kind of miscommunication with the users who originally requested support for this controller. Check out this issue for a fix until I make a new release.Cant Connect 8bitdo zero, it pair but buttons not working, any help?
Given that neither console is officially released yet there aren't many people with access to the controllers. Once someone who owns one requests support (or if anyone wants to crowdfund me a controller) I can start working to add it. I haven't got Bluetooth LE connections figured out yet, so if either of them use that exclusively then I'll have to put support on the backburner until that's working. Otherwise it should just be a matter of mapping the controls like any other controllerany word on PS5 and XB Series controller support?

Probably not a lot you can do for now, as it now appears these controllers are using BLE so I won't be able to make them work until I figure out BLE connections. This may require getting my hands on an actual BLE controller. There is now a github issue for it here if you want to follow/contribute. You could check to see whether there is any distinction between the Series X and S controllers, but I imagine they're the same.I picked up a Series S controller yesterday, how can I help?
what if you have both SX OS and atmosphere installed , could you use this to play .xci games with other bluetooth controllers?I switched nearly 1 year ago. It's not much different you just don't have a XCI loader. All games have to be installed.
Updating Atmosphere is a little bit harder since 0.15.0, but not difficult at all.
USB HDD support for atmosphere is on its way afaik.
SXOS/piracy is not supported.what if you have both SX OS and atmosphere installed , could you use this to play .xci games with other bluetooth controllers?

I can probably mitm the usb service in a similar fashion to what I'm doing with bluetooth, I haven't looked into it much however. It's not super high priority for me at the moment because it's non-trivial and there are plenty of other things to be done, and people can use sys-con for wired controllers. This method would allow rumble and motion controls to be supported though, which is not possible with sys-con.Works flawlessly, even with multiple controllers. Excellent work. I def. do wanna see wired controller support at some point if its possible.
Maybe, but I don't have a GCN controller or the USB adapter to figure out how the analog trigger values are sent to the console. As far as I can tell there are no documented HID reports that contain analog trigger data. Can you add support to analog triggers? maybe emulatin the GameCube controller/w
It should be possible. I have plans already to try this with keyboard and mouse in the future. The problem for now is that I think most modern devices are using Bluetooth LE, which isn't supported yet. At least that's the case with the ones I own.@ndeadly Could you make it possible with MissionControl to use a keyboard as a Pro Controller?
I'd like to use WASD + some other buttons for Street Fighter!
Open an issue on the project GitHub requesting support for the controller and I'll talk you through it. I'll need to see the output of btdb.nro and you'll have to record the controller output for the button presses using another tool.i finally found my nonstandard bluetooth controller! it's a 8bitdo nes30 (not the pro). it has a d-pad, four buttons (besides start + select), and two bumpers.
it pairs already, but none of my buttons work. how do i assist further in adding support for my controller?
latest ams, fw, and missioncontrol
