Minecraft 3DS uses a new texture format:
.3DST. However, this can be opened using the modified Ohana3DS build attached to the post.
1. Extract your games ROMFS using Decrypt9 or another program.
2. Browse around the game's content and look for a file you'd like to edit (
.3DST Only).
3. Download and extract the Ohana3DS build attached to this post. (by
@mariosonicds)
4. Run the
.EXE.
5. Navigate to
Tools --> BCH texture replacer...
6. Open the
.3DST file you'd like to edit.
7. Click
Export and choose a location to save the file.
8. Open the exported
.PNG file in an image editor, such as Photoshop.
10. Make any edits you want to the image, and then save the file.
10. On Ohana3DS, click
Replace.
11. Select the image you just saved
12. Save the file
13. Done! Your
.3DST file now contains the edited texture. You can use OnionFS or something to load the file.
