Take the idea:

1)Create sdinfo.bin on old 3ds and create xorpad.
2)Decrypt Mii Plaza save files
3)Repeat step 1 on New 3DS to create xorpads
4)use padxorer on decrypted SD content from old 3ds, using xorpads from new 3ds
5)copy contents to new 3ds mSD card

Why wouldn't this work? is there also some stuff in the nand.fat16 that needs to be moved? If so, what?

If I did step 1, then made more progress in a Mii plaza game (changing the data on my SD), and did step 1 again, would the resulting xorpad be different from the first one I made?

I still wait for the day when there is a way to manually transfer my progress. Not sure if you can system transfer from a new3ds back to an old3ds, but that isn't an option now anyway since I don't feel like updating my new3ds and hardmodding to downgrade it.

I would also like this same kind of functionality; so far it seems that system apps, like Mii Plaza are special (and I'm not sure, but I think there is data in the FAT16 partition that needs to be moved, at least it looks like it from opening and seeing the file sizes in my own).

It's all over my head. I managed to break the arm11 exploits on my N3ds by trying to copy the tickets.db, movable.sed, and everything in /nand/data over to my 9.0 sysnand (from 9.5 emunand). All of the progress in Mii Plaza made the switch, and all of my games could run, but the data management somehow couldn't read anything on the mSD card. The only thing that runs is Ninjhax now (libkhax and Brahma both fail, Brahma specifically mentioning arm11) and then, only regular homebrew for it (like emulators and such, but not like bootstrap decrypt9).

As I am unable to launch the GW menu to flash my original nand back, I am forced to pull out the soldering iron out :/.

Having a linked emu/sysnand is crucial in trying this stuff out, I guess. Every format changes something in movable.sed and I am unsure how it all works now. I think it works differently than before because I know if I format 4.5 or 4.2 O3DS sysnand, I am still able to move stuff from Nintendo 3DS/<ID0>/<ID1> to the new set of <ID0>/<ID1> folders and it is still read. Doing this between a 9.0 sysnand and 9.5 emunand simply does not work (you will get corrupted data messages).

Oh, holy crap! Thank you so much! Now if only I can get my hard mod working on my N3DS, so I can flash back my original NAND and get it done. Does the eshop firmware spoof work on a 9.0 sysnand, by the way? That would be an easy way to start from scratch and still get my tickets from the e-shop (I think)
