This would be a definite day one purchase for me. I'd love to have this game. But not enough to buy an xbox one for it.

I can't think of any Rare games I enjoy outside of Battletoads, but that's not a bad idea. Microsoft pushing their console with first-party exclusives and doing a bit of third-party software on the side for other consoles/PCs. Doing lower tier stuff for other markets seems like a good way to give others, who may not typically be part of their main market, a taste of what they have to offer, but some experience to call upon for possible futures. Also they can sell more copies. That's if they go that route. I'm definitely curious.

Man if this results in anything but a Rare Replay Wii U port, people are gonna be PISSED at microsoft for this tease. Let me guess what's gonna happen: Rare gets flooded with requests and petitions, they say "well, no, we aren't in a position to make a port," and people are gonna get PISSED at either MS or Rare, or both.

Some of the best games made by Rare were on the N64.
Jetforce Gemini, Conquer BFD, Perfect Dark, Banjo Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Mickey's Speedway USA, Golden Eye, etc....
So essentially these bundled games were the pinnacle of N64 era, not Microsofts.
Approaching Nintendo makes the RARE collection look somewhat less of a Cheap N64 NES Emulator CASH IN.

I have been wanting to buy the Rare Replay Collection since it's gotten so cheap but I don't own an Xbox One so I really hope they can port the Rare Replay Collection to the Wii U. I'd have bought it on the 360 but Microsoft made it an exclusive to XO.
