Gaming metroid trilogy

i know the silver you get from defeating bosses and green is from friend codes i'm not quite sure how you get the rest of the colors though. i got some orange but have no idea how i even got them? any1 know a complete medal (if that's what they are) color list and how to get them?

One color is for scanning things I think
and another for defeating X00 enemies (these are friend ones)

edit: two colors are for scanning
one for creatures
one for lore

at least thats for prime 3

(Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3) Unlockable: Credits

You can unlock credits in all three games for purchasing bonuses. Each color of credit is awarded for specific actions in specific games. Here's how to win each type of credit:

* Blue Credits - Use the scan visor to scan objects/items for your log in Metroid Prime 3
* Friend/Green Credits - Use WiiConnect24 to gather these from friends playing Metroid Prime Trilogy
* Orange/Purple/Yellow Credits - Defeat bosses in Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3
* Red Credits - Use the scan visor to scan creatures for your log in Metroid Prime 3
* Silver Credits - Collect Chozo Artifacts / Keys and complete Log and Inventory
