I flipped through the different topics that cover running MPT and I couldn't find answers for my problems ,seeing as most topics cover running this good game from USB which at the moment doesn't interest me (due to the lack of external hard drive).
So I'm opening this topic hoping to get some help to get her run !
Basically what I managed to collect as info is :
1- Patch the ISO to run with IOS 249
2- Burn a good brand DL-DVD with lowest speed possible (I did 1x)
4- Not use rev14 as it doesn't support DL
3- Play through NeoGamma
That's what I did ;
I have a 4.1E PAL wii, cIOS 38 installed rev 12, Preloader 0.29, Hermes cIOS and cIOSCorp 3.4
Here are the different results that I got:
*With NeoGamma 7 I got a 1101 DVD READ ERROR
*With NeoGamma 8 beta rev 3 I got a 1027 DVD READ ERROR and sometimes a TIMEOUT
*With cIOSCorp 3.4 through the disc channel : The screen turns to black then this message shows : REMOVE THE DISC AND POWER OFF THE CONSOLE. PLEASE REFER TO THE WII USER GUIDE FOR MORE DETAILS (or something with the same meaning)
My question is ; is there a way to play a backup MPT disc? I'm pretty sure the issues that I have are software related , and I'd really appreciate someone with more knowledge helping me out.
