Last year's E3 had Konami and Hideo Kojima announcing a remake of the third Metal Gear Solid for the 3DS. At that time, it was a simple tech demo made to show off the 3D effect and what the 3DS could do. At the time, it was unsure whether the game would really be made. The fan reaction was so positive however that Konami went ahead with plans on a full version of the game. It has since evolved from tech demo into full fledged game you see above in the newest trailer. The trailer was shown off at E3 this year and you can see how far the game has come since then. The E3 2010 tech demo was already one of the most impressive games shown off for the 3DS. Now it looks even better due to the longer development time developers have been given to push the hardware. Currently, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D is scheduled to release on the Nintendo 3DS by the end of 2011. No word on an exact date yet. You can check out some high quality direct feed screenshots at the source below as well as the trailer. [/p]
