Member Length Theory?

I think it has, at all times, been the case that the majority of active posters joined in the last 6 month. After that time most of them seem to lose intrest or at least post less.

Good point. I know when I first joined up I was really focused on the G6 Lite, that was the rage then like the R4 is now. Since I was doing so much research, I wanted to help, and actually could to some extent. I've been off my games lately due to a severe life crapstorm though, so I can't help much right now. I try to be useful still, but it's more social help and comic relief (well I try anyway.) Once life settles down some, I promise I'll be more useful, no really, I promise.

I found this site and became a member because at that time it was required to download ye gba roms. then i stayed because it was really nice to get updated on gba releases and reviews on flashcarts.

Got here because a lot of other forums were linking to threads on this one, and I had to register to be able to see what all the fuss(es) was (were) about. I stayed... well, at first, it was refreshingly new, but now it has become refreshingly well-known and familiar. Same-ol' same-ol'. I'm getting old.

Not sure why no-one's suggested it, but "about 1 year" also hits the time when the forum changed to registered users only. People who already have an account are more likely to interact with the community afterwards.

True. I knew about the forum for a long time (people link to topics on it all the time), but only registered when it became neccessairy. And a few months later I started actively participating.

Well I've been here for a good few years. I can't remember what I came for, but its obvious why I'm still here

. This place is really nice though, I guess I could call it something like an internet family ^^.
I try to be an active member, but I'm not that good with some of the "technical" stuff, heh.
