I'm pretty sure the third character's going to be Bass. Look at the little bit about the story. A virus that causes robots to go out of control. You could vaguely connect that to the Mavericks in the X series. And if you've ever seen the ending to Power Battles 2, the arcade game, you see that Wily used Bass as a prototype for Zero, who became a Maverick hunter.

Maybe I'm just looking too deep into it, but it seems too coincidental. And who the hell would want to play as Roll. I mean seriously. You don't make a character like that secret taunt bait, you're just going to piss people off doing that.

You can't scrub that idea off just yet. They let you play with Alia and the other Navigators in X8.

Roll was a decent character for MvC/MvC2, but she doesn't seem like..platforming material.

whilst these megaman games are pretty good I would like them to make another megaman legends game those are my pure favourites.

If they said "heroine" there would be literally no other choice besides Roll, unless for some incredibly stupid reason they decided to give Kalinka a main role. They used "hero" for mystery.
