Way cool that you guys are translating this game. Can't help sadly. However I do wonder since this would be a rom where everything is in English? How will it be for those that own the game legally? Like I own a physical copy with a JP 3DS. Would there be like a walkthrough somewhere?
Depending on how they release it really. Ideally if they release the modified romfs files you can load those over a physical game using Luma3DS' ROMFS modifier (only in nightlies as 6.6 is still latest stable) or you could use something like Smea's HANS. Alternatively you can use Decrypt9 to dump your physical cartridge and overwrite the romfs files accordingly then repack it into .cia or .3ds whichever is applicable to you
I already don't really want to go modding either of my 3DS to be honest. Why I'm hoping for a walkthrough. I know there is one on Tumblr from someone who's on the Rising Beetle forum, but I'm already way past how far that one is... And I'm stuck in the game.

Hey, I have been following this for a while now. Is there a way I can help out with translating the text? I understand most Japanese (some kanji still does not make sense) and I will be having quite a bit of free time soon. Sorry I cannot help tech wise.
I agree, I voted for 7 too. If I remember right, it had cameos from the original anime cast grown up. Would be an interesting entry to try next.

@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one -

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
