Max Anarchy announced for PS3/360!

Bayonetta and Vanquish developer Platinum Games has a new multiplatform PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game in the works. Titled Max Anarchy, the game is an online action combat game. This will be the first online combat game from the developer.

Famitsu has a first report on the game this week. Screens in the magazine show players wielding chain saws and torches to do battle. Jack from Wii's ultra violent Madworld will be a playable character.

We can probably expect to hear a lot more about the game shortly, as Famitsu has a lengthy developer interview with Platinum's Atsushi Inaba.

Spiritual successor to MadWorld?
If we all pray together and the game has SOME sort of storyline maybe it will be penned by Yasumi Matsuno!

Sweet, easy preorder sometime in the relatively near future. Looks like a great spiritual successor to MadWorld.

Man, I would have been nice, if Jack would have stayed black and white, since he is "just" a special character and not in the story as far as I heard...

I really liked MadWorld but I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that there weren`t tag-team-moves in co-op-mode... That would have been so bad a**!!!
