Well my cousin said his DSI was charging at his house but then it stopped charging all of the sudden.
Then he came to my house and we tried charging it at every outlet plug in the house but still it still won't charge.
He hasn't done any physical damage to it and he only bought it a few months ago; so do you have any suggestions on how to get it charging?

A few months ago? Is it still under warranty?

If so, send it to Nintendo and see if they'll fix it.
If not, send it anyway, they may take pity. the worst they can do is say "no".

have you tried turning it on and look how full the battery is?
my guess is just that the battery is full. Otherwise send it in, 'cause the battery is busted.

The battery isn't full, if it was full I wouldn't try charging it =P

take the battery out and blow inside the ds the put the battery back in see if that heps. if u have another dsi try the good battery in the broken dsi, an try the broken ds battery in the working dsi.

Is there any kind of response from the dsi when you press the power button, like the powerLED coming on or the screens flashing?
If there isn't, maybe something inside the dsi has broken.

What if the battery charge simply was full?
Even when it's full the light will appear briefly. You can always check the menu screen to see if it thinks it's plugged in or not.

It'll try to turn on but it shuts off because it isn't charged
