Sure $40 will be fantastic once we can get around the shit-awful amiibo DLC moneyharvest, and we can then just download NFC codes and program nfc sensors with android devices.

You need to be reminded why Nintendo's releases three games for $40?

    1) Captain Toad - An overly repetitive, lack of creativity and lazy game.
    2) Kirby's Rainbow Curse - 28 stages.
    3) Mario Party 10 - No online play and required Amiibos to unlock at least 6 game board sets.

It's better that Nintendo doesn't keep this bullshit trend going as it's terrible.

    Exactly. It's 2015!

I thought that wasn't quite figured out yet, in regards to Amiibos

To be honest that is exactly true. Most games under 60 are either short or lazy to be honest. Now one thing I don't get is why does online play matter? I really don't see a large some of people who would want to compete online in Mario party(well atleast not like ssb4 or kart)

Smash and Mario Kart are also party games that can actually be played online and if MK8 didn't have online play I wouldn't have bothered getting it. The offline mode doesn't really offer much replayability for offline gaming.

It does if you include offline multiplayer but I get what you mean. Its just to me the bigger deal is the play style of party has gone down from even the GameCube tittles to now its just isn't fun.

    Mario Party CAN'T be online.

Game sessions are too long to be played online.

Online play wouldn't really work for Mario Party. At least, not the board game part. You could be like an hour into a game only for it to end by the other player leaving or by a disconnection. Besides, Mario Party is meant to be a local game. How else will you smack your friend for stealing your stars?

Which is why a timer for these type of games is useful.

Think about it like this a short game of party like 20 turns last like an hour or less and a Pokemon battle can last up to one hour.
    So it is possible

WTF?! Nintendo is charging 49.99 for the eShop version of this game and you get NO Amiibo. Why would anyone buy this digitally?!

Convenience since it is easier to download than to go to a store and buy it

That's silly. There is no convenience in spending 65 dollars for the total package vs 52 just because someone was too damn lazy to get off their ass and buy a disc.

Mario Party has kinda shrunken into shovelware. It's pooped out every year and the mini-games just keep devolving. Paying $60 for a new one would be absurd.
