Oh, that's really cool. I thought a Vanilla 3DS has signature checks in download play. How did you guys manage to get around that with how MK7 works?

Because MK7 sends the track files from the main romfs, instead of the dlp cxi. That allows sending CT files (which aren't checked). Since track files use Yaz0 and Sarc compression, maybe a buffer overflow exploit could be made, but that's just a theory. a game theory!

I played a bunch of CTGP Download Play matches on the bus today, and I gotta say, it's fucking awesome! I only had a problem with one map, and that's Eternal Cavern. It was really dark to begin with, and the sun shining on my top screen didn't help either. Just saying. Also, just a question, is it possible that in the future, the person using download play will get the same Menu assets as the person hosting? It became a bit of an issue when selecting maps. Other than that, the mod is great!

Well, in that case, is it possible to make bonuses for playing locally with two separate CTGP-7s? Like the ability to set a higher number of races in a Vs. Cup? Or is that just another stupid dream I have?

Huh. That's interesting that MK7 is a unique case compared to other games. Thanks for letting me know about that. Kinda' neat were able to play with non-A9LH users this way.

That's possible. Even I can help you out with that. All you need to do is edit the MSBTs in UI\common-xx.szs using MSBT Editor and Bingo. There you have your translations.

Sure, but once the version 1.0 is released, (because more CTs will be added in the future, and so, their names will change, and I don't want to ask translators to translate a certain string each time a version is released.)
