Oh, that's really cool. I thought a Vanilla 3DS has signature checks in download play. How did you guys manage to get around that with how MK7 works?
It's a layout file inside UI/common.szs@PabloMK7 Could you tell me which file you edited to get the custom Mario Kart Loading instead of the spinning wheel?
Which one exactly (at least tell me the file size)It's a layout file inside UI/common.szs
Can't remember.Which one exactly (at least tell me the file size)
Just asking this. If I wanted that loading in a different RomFS I'm going to create (a fresh hack I'm doing), will just copying common.szs suffice? Can't remember.
NopeAlso, just a question, is it possible that in the future, the person using download play will get the same Menu assets as the person hosting?
Huh. That's interesting that MK7 is a unique case compared to other games. Thanks for letting me know about that. Kinda' neat were able to play with non-A9LH users this way.Because MK7 sends the track files from the main romfs, instead of the dlp cxi. That allows sending CT files (which aren't checked). Since track files use Yaz0 and Sarc compression, maybe a buffer overflow exploit could be made, but that's just a theory. a game theory!
If you are using hans method,Ocarina AND MK7.
I don't think so.Well, in that case, is it possible to make bonuses for playing locally with two separate CTGP-7s?
That's possible. Even I can help you out with that. All you need to do is edit the MSBTs in UI\common-xx.szs using MSBT Editor and Bingo. There you have your translations.@PabloMK7 In the future, will you have fan-translations for languages that didn't exist in the original game, like CTGP-R does? I'd be happy to contribute!
I know, I've dealt with MSBT files before. That's possible. Even I can help you out with that. All you need to do is edit the MSBTs in UI\common-xx.szs using MSBT Editor and Bingo. There you have your translations.
So you can begin with that Project if you want.I know, I've dealt with MSBT files before.
*cough* Hungarian HOME Menu *cough* New Super Mario Bros. U Hungarian Translation *cough*
Go ahead. Wait. He'll reply. Possibly in a few minutes.Sure, but I want to hear @PabloMK7's opinion first.
Sure, but once the version 1.0 is released, (because more CTs will be added in the future, and so, their names will change, and I don't want to ask translators to translate a certain string each time a version is released.)@PabloMK7 In the future, will you have fan-translations for languages that didn't exist in the original game, like CTGP-R does? I'd be happy to contribute!
Okay.Sure, but once the version 1.0 is released, (because more CTs will be added in the future, and so, their names will change)
