Mario Galaxy 2 Nusspli version save to vWii

Hi, I'm playing the NUspli downloaded version of Mario Galaxy 2. Now that there's a 480p patch with the new flicker option in USB loader I would like to use it there instead, but I don't want to start the game over. Is there a way to migrate that save?

downloaded and normal vwii save are the same unless using emunand, so turn off emunand for that game to use the same save.

I'm not sure what you mean. I tried using the game from USB in USB loader and it created its own save. It loads that save everytime I launch it.

it's in the game settings for that particular game. it should say "partial" or "full" or use global settings, just switch it to off.

Are you talking about inside USB loader right?

Yeah, I had it set to off in global. The installed version of Mario Galaxy is in a different USB hard drive and I can use only one at the time. Do you think that is causing the issue?

Saves for vwii or vc wii games go on internal memory. They'll be there whether the hdd is plugged in.

Then I have no clue how to fix that. For a moment I though it was a region thing, but I tried both EU and US regions an none sees the save.
