I believe that video games, especially sandbox ones ala GTA can influence people.
It is not to say it makes people kill people but it does influence people.
People who say otherwise are in denial or don't know how stupid people can get.
To be honest I noticed I was a more aggressive driver after playing racing games....
I think driving games are the closest thing to an accessible real life experience
(how many people fly planes? or go walking round the street with guns? some maybe, but not generally)
I saw a documentary ages ago about a nascar driver who was using nascar (the pc game) as part of the training
and his lap times markedly improved.
And another thing.....
I think gangsta rap is some sort of evil, why are there people from europe to asia to australasia who think their neighborhood is the ghetto and would maim or kill someone if they were wearing red or blue?
