Hacking M3i Zero and US DSi XL, special trick to get it to work?

anyone else go out and buy the new DSi XL today that uses an M3i Zero? went from an old Red DS Phat to the DSi XL, and so far i cant get it to load up the M3i with the DSi. trying a backup/reformat but i kinda doubt that'll work. currently running the latest M3 Sakura software for it in a single boot. any help would be appreciated.

doesnt seem to want to take the 1.4 F_CORE. neither NDS recognizes my M3i Zero anymore. plug it into the cable, the red LED flashes for about 10-15 seconds, then nothing when I drop it into either NDS

Make sure the side of the updater that has the arrow is on the same side as the back of the M3.

Also make sure your updater isn't damaged to any extent.

so updating with a 8gb SDHC didnt seem to work. popped my 2gb in with just the F_CORE and bam it works as intended.
