So basically I followed a guide to installing Luma3DS and everything went according to plan. I searched up a tutorial on how to use snickerstream and I was redirected into installing NTR CFW and everything still went according to plan, but when I'm prompted to choose a version, I click "3.6" and it shows a black screen that says
"An exception occured
Processor: Arm11 (core 0)
Exception type: data abort
Fault status: Translation - Section"
Current process: Boot NTR (000400000EB00000)"
with a stack dump below.

I have read some pages here on how to fix this but I still have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help?

You need to use a specific fork of Luma to make it work. If you don't want to use it all the time then you can install Fastboot3DS which is a boot9strap replacement that lets you choose which version of Luma (or other payload, like godmode9) you want to boot by holding a button down when booting.
