Dunno if I'm correct in posting this.

But where can I download 1.45 firmware? I'm using 1.43 N-Card (upgraded from DS FireCard.)

I have problems with Zelda save file as well.

EDIT: Never mind. Wasn't looking enough. Me bad.

All you need to do is manually set the save to 4mb, like Porkdish said. If you leave it on AUTO the save will corrupt.

I updated my card to 1.44 now. Used to be 1.45 but was having problems with it.

I updated my card from DS FireCard (that is CORRECT name) to N-Card, which got all games working. However Zelda...

It loads fine and play fine. But when I use 4MB save manually, it would gone all black ramdomly through the games.

How can I fix this?

@mrplugo: Browse around the Downloads section. See that row of menu at the top of the page.

@wilddenim: I've come across that. But only once, near the beginning when Link meets Ciela's grandpa. I'm upto the 6th dungeon and haven't come across the problem ever since.

Did you trim the ROM by any chance? Try not trimming it. I've had problems before with some trimmed ROMs. Rare and few but they're there. And also try using another ROM dump from elsewhere.

I don't know how to trim the ROM, (and don't know what that meant!lol) so nope. I'm doing full format again. So let's see if I have better luck.

I thought PS4/5 and Xbox One emulation would be kind of easy since they basically just a PC

so you have to learn to emulate that specific hardware which isn't as easy as you'd think

I think the only custom hardware is to do with the SSD and a security chip

    Probably combined in one chip

They place married security chips onto boards iirc

At one point PC game pads where poorly supported, loading a game had setup, it was complicated. Now it's almost as easy as a console.
