Gaming Lost in Blue 2/3 wifi not working

I am trying to go wifi between 2 DS's with a AK2 and a SCDS1 and even tried my sclite with no luck. They never seem to find each other. Is there any issues with these two games going betweeen ds's? I have tried all the latest firmware for each and rommanker for the sclite. I have tried fix download play on and off and no luck either.

update with now luck yet. Tried compressed and uncompressed on the sclite with no luck. any ideas?

OK, the cooking battle only works. the download play does not. I just made up a save point for mine, and my daughter has been playing for awhile, if that helps.

Have the roms been trimmed? If they have, try using just a clean rom.
