Won't fix Locking your own thread?

I don't know much about this stuff... And i just wanted to know, Can you lock your own thread? Just something i wanna know. And if you can, please explain how!

You can not lock your own threads. You need to report the thread to the staff and have them lock it for you.

Its not a good option, cause anyone who gets butthurt can just ragelock their own threads. Its not healthy.
