Hacking Loading bar screen freezes sometimes

Sometimes my loading screen on my CycloDS Evolution freezes when it hits 100%, and no longer how long I wait or restart my DS, it doesn't load. The only way to get it to work again is to reinstall the firmware by putting an update.evo on my MicroSD. Does this happen to anyone else? It's pretty irritating. My theory is that this has only been happening when I shut off my DS without exiting a homebrew program or rom and returning to the main menu, but I haven't tested this theory too much yet.

If it doesn't happen to anyone else, do you think it's more likely to be my CycloDS itself, or my SD card?

As far as I know, I mostly play on the GBA games. So this doesn't happen to me, it can also be your SD card is getting old. There can be a lot of reason why this is happen to you.

Have you tried backing up and formatting the card? That usually fixes loading problems.
