This is what I got so far from what I've seen:

-Load up Miiverse to gain access to the SD (I suppose).
-Once you load up Miiverse, the SD card contents are displayed on screen (as you can see from the selectable games).
-He goes back to he Main menu to boot up Sm4sh, which also has SD access. My guess here is that he uses the SD support of Sm4sh to execute the RPX/RPL files that he has in the SD.
-Instead of launching Sm4sh, the game launches the custom RPX/RPL selected via Miiverse previously.

We can load Wii U Game Backups from SD card. Not all games though, only some.

Make sure to not update anymore. the bug used for the browser exploit in 5.4.0 is public now, all you need is to wait the devs to release the exploit, they have no reason to keep it private anymore. Should be out soon.

Will take some time to dev and update compatibility and work out bugs, but look at PS3 Scene, deank still updates MultiMan.

Quick tuto to get your game on the sd :

1-Take you rom.wud
2-Decompress it with Uwizard + the titlekey of your game
3-Get the rpx file in the folder "code"
4-Copy all the files in vol/content (data game)
5-Organise your sd card, take the readme of looadine for that
6-Use exploit and profit
