I heard they couldn't add mp to the game because the physics system uses most of the psp's resources or something like that.

the real fun of Lbp for me is downloading other peoples' levels that they made. I wish I could log in online but it says it requires a firmware update.

It's not working for me on m33-6... I already used the eboot patcher and it still doesn't boot. Am I supposed to run it in .iso format?
mine's in ISO format (in case that makes a difference) and works fine on m33 using the guide:

QUOTE* Install the GameZDecryptZ folder in your X:PSP/GAME folder
* Open you iso with UMDGEN 4
* Go to File>File List>Export
* Save it as Filelist.txt
* Extract the EBOOT.BIN with UMDGEN4 in PSP_GAME/SYSDIR
* Put your EBOOT.BIN extracted from UMDGEN PSP_GAME/SYSDIR and put it on root of your memory stick
* Now you can boot game decrypter now you can press X 5 seconds later it’s done
smile.gif

* Connect your usb cable check on root of your memory stick you have a new folder called decryptor
* Copy the eboot.bin from the decryptor folder inside umdgen
* Go to File>File List>Import
* Choose Filelist.txt
* Select YES to forcing LBAs, then Save
* Rebuild your ISO
I tried that and it didn't work for me... I ended up updating to gen-d2. I miss the ms speed access though.

I find that rather hard to believe.
Seeing the fact over 80% of the game is movies.

They should have added MP and made a special movie UMD for the tutorials.

I too have read that I am sure someone will post a link regarding that matter.
Apparently MP uses up 2/3 of the processor and the game becomes unplayable. Thus they had to minus the MP. Fair enough.

Not having a PS3 was really looking forward to this game. Now I don't see what all the hype was about. Its an ok side scroller but I'd rather be playing New Super Mario Bros. I have seen some user created levels for the PS3 that looked awesome, but if that isnt't available on the PSP why even bother. This release is great proof of why piracy can work for the common good of the consumer.

You should try playing it tho.

I also was very dissapointed at first.
But it seems more fun than I tought it would be after finding out it has no multiplay.

You can download user created levels for the psp version, only you need the latest version of OFW and a legit copy of the game as far as I know. I played some awesome user made stages on the ps3, and I'm hoping to see more on the psp version. I might just end up buying this game as I like the idea of downloading levels to play on the go.

Resources as in processing power, not a size limitation. The game is a little over a gig, they didn't seem pushed for space.

I'll wait for reviews before I decide. From the screenshots, it doesn't look very appealing :\

It is good game-wise, lets put it this way, i was bothered to leech it on my 256kb/s internet connection i.e. 30kb/s download, it is one of the few PSP games i've played, and its quite fun. But of course the PS3 version is better

I finished it =(
At the last part when there where credits, I was like: "Wait, what? NOOO NOT ALLREADYYYY!!!!"

Someone at the pspscene must create some sort of a patch so that we can download other levels from psn with cfw.
Also, at the news thingy, there are html tags in the text

EDIT: I did play for like 4-5 hours straight, and then sleep, and then again 1-2 hours or so

Guess it is time to wait for Assassins Creed now.

I was just about thinking the same: Well, lets wait for Assassin's creed now...

There are a lot of cool stuff to dress you're sackboy up with, I won't reveal anything but it sure is worth picking up every collectable bubble thing you see.

Zomg the artards are out again having a 'whos dick is bigger' contest... xD
Surely you mean /r/-tard? hehe, the ironing is delicious... =]

Anyone wanna comment on the game, what is it like playing on such a tiny screen? As fun as on the PS3?
AWESOME! JUST WHAT WE NEED! An idiot who tries to act smart! That's a nice break from the idiots who act like monkeys.

Anyway, the lack of multiplayer is a massive failure on the developer's part. Buuuut...I guess I'll play it. By the way, can you send levels via Infrastructure?

Yeah, got this yesterday and played 2 levels. It really does still have that same charm it did on the PS3, it's just a shame that there's no multiplayer and I miss being in the pod.
