so according to this post right here:
https://www.libretro.com/index.php/retroarch-1-3-released/

libretro 1.3 is available on the ps3, and apparently one of the biggest features is dreamcast support (via reicast).

I wanted to know how well does dreamcast emulator runs on ps3? I can't seem to find any videos of it online which probably means it is bad. but I wanted to ask just in case.

Update: I am sorry if my question sounds like a noob. because I am when it comes to ps3 homebrew

The link you just posted said:
Right now, it runs on OSX, Windows, and Linux (64bit Intel only for now). Over the next coming days/weeks we will be porting it to Android and iOS as well and making it work for 32bit Intel too, so keep watching this space.
Meaning that core doesn't run on PS3.

@Sicklyboy, Sorry to hear. I had a 1989 Ford F150 pickup I finally sent to junkyard past summer. Threw a rod in it, n not worth buying new engine when rusty body barely hanging on. I only used it rarely on property to haul stuff like firewood, so was not big deal.

@Xdqwerty, If nobody replies try googling your issue to see if someone already had your issue and fixed it (if you haven't already)

@BigOnYa, shame to hear. Sure that thing treated you well over the years. Not sure of the exact cause of death of mine but it's reluctant to start and has a metal on metal squeal from the motor and developed a knock all of a sudden. Got it towed to my mechanic, its hard to crank by hand, and when he threw his booster pack on it the starter let out the magic smoke 😂😂
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
20 years old, 250k miles, got to drive it cross country once, had a junkyard motor put in it a few years back. Treated me mostly well but not without its fair share of headaches. Regardless, it had a small amount of frame rot, and that right there alone is enough to sign the death warrant.

On the bright side I'm getting $500 in scrap for it and saving $60 a month on my insurance by dropping it.
