ROM Hack Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass D-Pad Patch

[Greiga Master]

Similar to the Spirit Tracks D-Pad patch but for Phantom Horglass. It adds D-Pad/Button controls in addition to touch screen controls for basic actions.
Control Bindings:

• D-Pad=Run
• Y+Dpad=Walk
• B=Wide slash
• B+Dpad=Long slash
• Y+B=Spin Attack
• A=Interact
• A+Dpad=Roll
• A=Advance Dialogs

Once again things bound to the D-Pad originally could still be accessed with Select+that direction.

Yeah! now i can finally play this game, dude thanks a lot for these awesome Zelda d-pad hacks!

Nintendo should have made it like this from the beginning, i don't like being forced to use the stylus to play, they needed to add the option to use the d-pad too.

Thank god you took care of that issue, awesome work man, we all appreciate your top-notch quality d-pad hacks!

I can't figure out how to apply the patch. I even used the xdelta GUI and that didn't work.

Make sure you did the command in the readme, and open the exe as admin.

oh man sorry for the super late reply

all cheats in general I play using a gateway flashcard and after applying the dpad patch cheat option becomes unavailable

I heard about this patch from some friends and it's TRUE!


But can you make this patch for the korean version too?
(you could copy paste the following korean words in google to find more information)

(there is no official version for spirit track, so you'll have to patch the korean version to a japanese rom)

You need a rom backup of the game i believe.
