Gaming Layton Unwound future freezing

So I'm finally at the ending of the game but it freezes during the last cut scene. It's also unskippable so I figured some kinda trick put in place just to spoil the ending. I tried searching for the problem and few people have reported it in other places but no solutions so far. Using Acekard2i with newest akaio

Anyone know what's up? Hope someone can help me out here. I need to finish this already!
