He said to put a halt to the Switch hacking scene because its in Nintendo's best interests. That's hardly something to fault him for. We're all biased here to wanting homebrew and hacks, but realistically, Nintendo and most would actually be very happy to see the demise of a potential exploit.

Nintendolife and Tumblr can keep uselessly jerking it to "muh evil hax" tho.

Well, I don't agree with his stance though *sigh*.

Do you realise that the definition of "SJW" is not "anyone who disagrees with you"?

Okay..? Just because people bitch about hacking doesn't mean I have to agree with them. Save that for Nintendo Life lol.

Uh did he send you the pic? If that's the case, I don't know if the mods will let that fly considering they took it down but that's not my call, I just prefer playing it safe.
It’s just not allowed in public threads, I can explain it to someone in a PM.

Let’s get back on topic pls lol

The point wasn't about who you disagree with, it was about calling them SJWs when they might not necessarily be

Social Justice Warrior
I guess it would have been a compliment in the 1950s

SJW as a term doesn't have the most positive connotation nowadays. That said, it's not so much that I mind people being against hacking, it drives me insane when messages upon messages are forced down our throat on extremely-biased websites. Like, even the innocuous homebrew, the kind that don't violate copyrights, are still labeled as such to anyone who does that is automatically a pirate.

Then I retract what I said. SJWs typically try to force their beliefs and opinions down your throat though, from what I've seen.

Hey, that post is related to the topic :P

Who do you think the someone is referring to? Its strangely vague in the post. You can argue it was K, but that would make it sound like K ratted themselves out. Would be weird to refer to Nintendo as a single person. So the only theory left is an undisclosed third party.

What do you really care its just someone saying some shit on the internet. Also, its often times just use it to generalize people that are kind of extreme.

Okay, but, they're still getting paid. Fuck it, I would've done the same thing if actually had the talent and was spending my time wasting my life away arguing with my fellow jerkoffs and hacking group cucks.
We're all piece of shit garbage people anyway, no matter how much we try to levitate over others with this sense of superiority. Some people are just better at wearing that mask.

I know how you feel though, I used to be part of a 3DS meetup group, and whenever there was some interesting homebrew released I would post on the Facebook group about it so others could enjoy it. Always making sure never to share anything that had anything to do with piracy, eg emulators. Apparently "homebrew equals evil piracy" and I was told to mend my evil ways. I told them to get stuffed, and quit the group. It is annoying when publications spread that kind of misinformation and propaganda, but there's not much you can do about it.

Forget it, it's clearly wrong to not agree with people who have opposing views. I don't agree with anti-hacking views, but that's bad too.

It's annoying as hell, IMO. The people that ran that FB group sound like a bunch of dicks though.

It's not that you disagree with them. It's how hostile you became in your disagreement.
