Hacking Just soft modded, now everything = "An error has occurred..."

Hi, first post here.
Been following XFlak's ModMii guide and I have (I think) soft modded my Wii using Super Smash Bros.
I'm currently running 4.3U.

After installing the Home Brew Channel I decided to use my Netflix, which just gave me the "An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button, remove the..."

Also tried running my VC games (not pirated), some games run for like 30 sec and just !!! black screen. Same problem with running a Wii disc game, able to play for like 3 minutes then... "An error has occurred."

...So basically I'm getting two errors, black screen and "An error blah blah blah..." My Wii is pretty useless.

Made NAND backup
Patched IOS236
Followed the guide exactly.
