I just compared pixels (I know they arent the same size but just the pattern of them), they are NOT the same. The pokeball in the scan is bigger and has more color detail. IDK why the actual game icon would receive less detail.

It could be from the way the icon was extracted, or a change during production.

The Pokeballs seem to be simillar sizes though.

I need to find a list of Icons though.

Checked my DS though, HG is a gold tinted pokeball image. And I think the JPN release was too. I'd have to assume that SS was a silver tinted one.

The Pokeball designs are totally different.

The icon in question is different shades of red and white and black, and the background is a solid black instead of the differing pink/whatever.

I looked up some information. This would be the first time that a DS icon was different from a transfer icon... so I doubt it's real.

It came from a pokemon black rom

Like I said, the shades of red in the pokeball are different, along with the center piece's blending to white. The white itself is brighter in the questionable icon as well.

It came from a pokemon black rom

Was the rom tested at all? Did it work? If so could we get some gameplay? I hope the game was leaked but I'm doubting it. =/

u not suppose testing it with ur ds if u aren't 100% legit the rom was.. go test it with emulator 1st..

The rom was apparently tested but booted to a white screen. This does not imply that it's fake because the game will likely have AP

Once again, not true.

Puyo Puyo 7 is my example, game loading icon has a green puyo, multiplayer download has a red puyo. Also a different yellow thing (Angry, lined in red to match to red puyo).
