I am just trying Joyflow out, and are having a couple of questions.
1. I believe you only released the source of Rev. 1, is this correct?
2. It only works in Uneek (channels only) and Uneek+DI(channels and games extracted with DiscEx)? and maybe Sneek (channels only) Is this because the program is looking for some of it's files on sd card, or are there more severe problems?
3. You are working on your custom DI... Is that the one that should support reading wbfs from a fat32 partition?
4. This question is probably more related to sneek than Joyflow....
If an application like a homebrew is normally running on ios58,
sneek and uneek will give it ios56. Does this means that disk transfer speeds (I am thinking about emulators) are USB 1.1 speed again instead of 2.0?
I was wondering if there is a way to obtain the more recent sources, or maybe the WIP sources? I would like to help with the development if possible somewhere, as it looks very promising.
If it could work under Sneek+DI, than the sd card could be used for the nand emulation only, and all homebrew and other stuff could remain on the usb disk.
Sorry for all this questions. It's so hard to find some "more in depth" information about things.
Hoping to get some answers, thanks in advance.
1. Yes, you're correct.. I'm planning to setup a googlecode page for it, but I've been to busy for now. There are no big changes in the code. I've no source with me atm, but I can explain what's changed:
- Rev2: Added a check if the DI module is present, if it's present JoYflow defaults to game view and if not JoYflow defaults to channel view
- Rev3: Fixed a bug in the getdir function so it now skips files if JoYflow finds them in the /game folder
I'll release the dif files asap for those who are not able to add those fixes them self
2. The problem is that I can't access the files on the USB device for now. I've been to busy to search for a solution.
3. Yes it's that DI module.
4. I guess what's not supported is not supported
